CCH Corporate customer journey - Welcome to your CCH journey!

To start your onboarding journey, your Account Manager will transition your details to our Order Processing team, who will:

  • set up your organisation’s account and send you an email containing your Practice code and Registration number – please ensure you keep this email safe for future reference
  • register your nominated Wolters Kluwer Account Administrator on our Support Portal.

Your Account Administrator then receives an email invitation to complete their registration. This is a crucial step, as once activated, your administrator is responsible for inviting colleagues within your organisation to join the Support Portal and Wolters Kluwer Academy. More information on the Account Administrator role can be found here.

Once your order has been processed, our Professional Services team will take over your onboarding journey, and you will receive a welcome email detailing the next steps.

ACTIVATION

A dedicated Project Manager will be assigned to you. They will:

  • arrange a launch call to formally kick off the project, confirm requirements, and align on scope and responsibilities
  • assign a Technical and Accounts Production consultant for the implementation stage
  • provide you with a tailored project plan for the remainder of the onboarding project
  • ensure you have successfully registered for our Support Portal.

After confirming the project plan, a pre-installation meeting with the technical consultant will be held to:

  • review technical requirements
  • agree on the installation rollout approach
  • identify necessary environment changes.

Your project coordinator will schedule a two-week period for you to complete any actions or adjustments agreed upon during this meeting.

Finally, a validation meeting will check that all updates are complete before moving to implementation.

** If you are a HDUK customer your installation service will be different, you can find more information specific to this service here.

 IMPLEMENTATION

Once all the onboarding preparations are complete, we’ll be ready to begin the implementation phase of the project.

This stage commences with the Wolters Kluwer technical consultant installing CCH Central and any additional products you have purchased.

Once the installation is complete, you will receive comprehensive documentation detailing the process and setup.

You are then responsible for thoroughly testing the CCH Solution and promptly informing your project manager of any issues identified.

Your Project Manager will also arrange a follow-up session with the technical consultant to provide post-installation support.

After these sessions, the technical consultant will formally sign off on the installation of your CCH Solution. Link to agenda.

The subsequent phase of implementation involves configuring CCH Central and CCH Accounts Production. During this stage, you will collaborate closely with your consultant to tailor the solution to your specific business needs and processes, while receiving expert advice on best practices throughout.

For more information about the setup and configuration process, please refer to the agenda for the service your organisation has selected:

ENABLEMENT

As part of your CCH Accounts Production service delivery, your consultant will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to make effective use of your new software.

The depth and focus of each training session varies according to the specific course selected, so we recommend you consult the agenda relevant to your purchased service for further details: CCH Accounts Production: Corporate Consultancy (10091213/10091214)

After your final session with the Wolters Kluwer consultant, a concluding 30-minute meeting will be scheduled to formally sign off this phase of the service. Prior to this meeting, you’ll have an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the software and confirm that all configurations meet your expectations and requirements.

Once this meeting is complete, responsibility will be handed back to your Project Manager, who will arrange a final call with you.

This call is designed to ensure you feel fully confident navigating the Support Portal and utilising all its functions, including raising Support Cases. On completion of this call, your Project Manager confirms the successful completion of your onboarding project and transitions you to our Support Team, and to your Account Manager.
