How To
Forward Matching
CCH CGT And Dividend Scheduling
CGT and Dividend Scheduling will deal automatically with Forward Matching (the 30 day rule) for Disposals that take place on, or after, 6.4.98.
Forward Match
However, wherever a Forward Match is required which straddles two Tax Years then the subsequent reacquisition must be entered in the earlier year prior to balances being extracted into the later year.
For example, a reacquisition on 20.4.20 should be entered onto the 6.4.19 to 5.4.20 Portfolio before opening the 6.4.20 to 5.4.21 Portfolio.
