20/8/2026 - Here is a further update from PD regarding the printing issue in Accounts Production (AP). Users who experience printing issues in Accounts Production after installing the August 2026 .NET Security Update, released on 11th August 2026, are advised to uninstall the update. Please note that the KB number varies depending on the operating system. For example:

Windows 11 25H2 and Windows Server 2025/Server OS 24H2

KB5120708

Windows Server 2022

KB5120705 and KB5120714

Windows 11 24H2

KB5120710 (Potentially affected)

Windows 11 23H2

Windows 10 1607 and Windows Server 2016

KB5120702 and KB5120418  (Potentially affected)

Notes

  • Many of the operating systems above have not yet been confirmed to have the issue. So only uninstall the security update if you are experiencing the printing issue.
  • It is unlikely that you are running Accounts Production and printing directly from the Windows Server. So you can probably ignore these entries in the table above.
  • If you have the issue on a different operating system or can’t find the KB above, you can look for the description “2026-08 .Net Security Update”

Uninstall the relevant windows update and wait for Microsoft to issue a fix.
Print the accounts to a PDF file and then print the PDF file to the printer.

30/03/2020'New Travel' not supported unless licensed for Audit

New travel was documented in the Appendix to the AP 2019.3 Release Notes. There it mentioned that Old Travel was still the recommended approach for users who are not licensed for Audit. In fact, New Travel does not work for users who are not licensed for Audit as the CSI does not lay down a copy of the WCF Service on the local workstation.
Continue to use Old Travel - which is the default. CCH is not aware of any reason to use New Travel except for Audit users.Information OnlyInformation Only
