Software Enhancements

CSV Import - update to use Aspose

Some firms may have experienced an issue when trying to use the CSV Import routine on Windows 11 machines.  The following messages may have been shown:

Historically, Microsoft supplied a fix that could be downloaded and installed on the machines experiencing the above messages. However, this fix is no longer supported, and as such, these firms can opt to access the CSV file using the Aspose component.

To activate the Aspose component, navigate to File > Maintenance > User-Defined > Configuration.  Locate the PM_CSV_AsposeImport configuration key and change the key value to 1.

Multicurrency Receipt Reversal

When performing a Receipt Reversal within Multicurrency, a selectable date option was not shown.  This issue has now been corrected, and employees performing the reversal will be prompted with a pop-up box to select the reversal date.

If the selected reversal date falls within a closed accounting period, then the employee is shown a message stating that the "Reversal date cannot be before xxx (where xxx represents the last date of the closed accounting period).
