Add information to invoice
Adding a WIP line enables you to invoice a job's WIP items, such as timesheets, disbursements and adjustments (WIP transfer, write-ups, and so on). You can add as many WIP lines as required for your client.

Use invoice text
When you add invoice text items, they can then be used with specific job types, group lines, simple lines and WIP lines on invoices. The use of text items removes the need to type descriptions manually when customizing an invoice. You can also add text to use with interim/progress invoices.

This enables you to identify the status of an invoice and who is responsible for it. The information will accumulate in the panel, so even if you unfinalize an invoice and then finalize it again, each individual action will be shown.

Subtract previous invoices
When you change the layout of a draft invoice, you can choose an alternate layout mode that shows a WIP line with the total WIP on the job to date, less any previous invoices created for the job. In other words, you can see all the WIP items that are unallocated to the job on the invoice, in addition to all previously invoiced WIP items for the job. Then the previously invoiced amounts are subtracted from the amount due.
