How to set up classes of shares

Before you can record the members of the company the application needs to know what type of shares are in existence. To access these records, select Company | Share Centre| Shares |Share classes from the menu:

If the share type is not present in the list, select Add a share class.

Enter the requested details and click Save.

There is no restriction on the number or type of shares recorded for each company.

Note: it is very important that you tick the checkbox tick if this share has voting rights as this indicates to the system that this share class should be included when automating entries in the PSC register.
