Onboarding
CCH Corporate Customers
This guide outlines what you can expect when onboarding onto your CCH Accounts Production solution. It describes the key stages, roles, and activities to help prepare your organisation for a smooth transition.

Initiation

To start your onboarding journey, your Account Manager will transition your details to our Order Processing team, who will:

  • set up your organisation’s account and send you an email containing your Practice code and Registration number – please ensure you keep this email safe for future reference
  • register your nominated Wolters Kluwer Account Administrator on our Support Portal.

Your Account Administrator then receives an email invitation to complete their registration. This is a crucial step, as once activated, your administrator is responsible for inviting colleagues within your organisation to join the Support Portal and Wolters Kluwer Academy. More information on the Account Administrator role can be found here.

Once your order has been processed, our Professional Services team will take over your onboarding journey, and you will receive a welcome email detailing the next steps.

The CCH Packs onboarding journey now splits into two routes; this depends on whether you have purchased the CCH Packs data migration or not.

No – using Import Wizard

After your order has been transferred to Professional Services, a member of our planning team will be allocated to your account.

They will review your requirements and arrange the onboarding services included in your CCH Packs bundle.

The planning team will email you with proposed dates for these services; it is your responsibility to check and confirm that these dates are suitable.

Once you have confirmed the schedule, your order will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in your order form.

You will also receive a technical questionnaire, which must be completed prior to the installation service.

Yes - purchased data migration

You will be supported throughout your onboarding journey by a dedicated Project Manager, who will:

  • organise a launch call to formally commence your project, clarify requirements, and ensure everyone is aligned on the scope and responsibilities
  • appoint a data consultant to oversee the data migration process, which will take place during the implementation phase
  •  confirm your successful registration for our Support Portal
  • provide you with a technical questionnaire to complete prior to installation
  • share a tailored project plan outlining the steps for the remainder of your onboarding, it is your responsibility to check and confirm that these dates are suitable.

Once you’ve confirmed the schedule, your order will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in your order form.

You will also receive a technical questionnaire, which must be completed prior to the installation service.

They will then arrange a meeting to discuss the data migration process and assign tasks required to complete ahead of the implementation stage this will include:

  • supply a secure link for uploading your current database
  • arrange a data review meeting with the data consultant to discuss your data, and provide you with recommendation on data cleansing.

Following the review, you’ll be given sufficient time to complete data cleansing.

On the scheduled date, provide your Project Manager with the cleansed data sheets, ready for migration.

For WIP and Debt data migration, supply the relevant reports alongside your cleansed sheets.

Remember, the data you submit will be migrated into your new CCH solution. Please carefully review these sheets, as any post-migration issues may require additional consultancy to resolve.

Once these initial data migration steps are completed, you will progress to the implementation stage of your project.

Implmentation

Once all the onboarding preparations have been complete, we will be ready to begin the implementation part of the project, again there will be differences to your journey depending on whether you have opted for the Data Conversions.

No data conversion journey Data conversion journey

The implementation phase commences with our Wolters Kluwer technical consultant carrying out the installation of your CCH Central solution, along with any additional products you have purchased.

Upon successful completion of the installation, you will receive comprehensive documentation detailing the entire process.

As part of your Central Implementation meeting, we will introduce you to the Import Wizard, your essential tool for bringing client and contact data into the system easily and efficiently.

Once your data consultant has received your completed data sheets, along with the relevant WIP and Debt reports, they will initiate the data migration process.

Following a successful migration, your newly established database will be handed over to your technical consultant.

Your technical consultant will then proceed to install your CCH Central solution, incorporating the migrated database provided by the data consultant.

Upon completion of the installation, you will receive comprehensive documentation outlining the steps taken during the process.

Following this, you will participate in your CCH Packs Implementation meeting(s), during which we will configure and tailor the remaining elements of your CCH solution to meet your specific needs.
